Ms. Neri then relocated to Columbus, Ohio to attend law school and received her Juris Doctorate Degree from The Capital University Law School in May of 2000. While attending Capital University Law School, Ms. Neri was a member of several organizations and was President of the Delta Theta Phi legal fraternity.

Frank J. Currie attended Furman University receiving his Bachelor’s degree in 1981. Mr. Currie then went on to the University of Miami where he graduated with his Juris Doctorate Degree in 1985. Mr. Currie was admitted to the Florida Bar on October 17, 1985. He was an Insurance Defense Attorney from 1985 through 1991. Mr. Currie has been aggressively representing and advocating for the injured for over 25 years. His areas of practice include Nursing Home Negligence, Medical Malpractice, Automobile Negligence, Premises Liability, Wrongful Death and all other injury claims. Frank J. Cynndi Sowers’ legal career began in 1995 when she attended and earned a certificate from the legal course at Cittone Institute in Mt. Laurel, NJ. For the next 20 years Cynndi has worked as a personal injury assistant for 2 law firms. The first 4 years of her career were at a firm in Voorhees, NJ. At this firm she began working for the junior associates and worked her way up to the legal assistant for the founding attorney handling litigation for personal injury cases. Cynndi Sowers moved to Bradenton, FL in 2000 and began working for the next 16 ½ years at the same law firm handling pre-suit personal injury cases for multiple attorneys at a time. During her time at this firm Cynndi completed the requirements and was registered as a Florida Registered Paralegal by the Florida Bar in 2010.

Cynndi resides in Bradenton with her husband and their 3 children. As a family they enjoy spending their time together outdoors, especially at the beautiful Bradenton beaches.

R. Evan Bassett has joined Neri Law Group as Of Counsel to the firm and has been licensed to practice law in Florida for over 20 years.

R. Evan Bassett is a fifth generation Floridian, who graduated from Berkeley Preparatory School and obtained his undergraduate degree from Furman University, where he majored in Spanish and speaks Spanish fluently. Mr. Bassett ultimately moved on to obtain his Juris Doctorate Degree from Cumberland School of Law.

Mr. Bassett began his career as an Assistant State Attorney, where he spent three years before transitioning to a career in Plaintiff’s work. Evan is also on the executive committee for the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).

He is a board certified Civil Trail Lawyer and concentrates his practice solely on advocating for people injured in accidents. His practice areas include cases involving automobile and motorcycle crashes, slip and falls, and nursing home negligence.

Mr. Bassett’s recent jury verdicts include a Pinellas County motor vehicle accident verdict of $950,000, a Hillsborough County motor vehicle accident verdict involving a DUI driver for $475,000 compensatory and $100,000 in punitive damages, and a Sarasota County motor vehicle accident verdict for $400,000.
